I’m very excited to start tonight’s dinner, inspired by Julia Salbum and named Chicken and Bacon Pasta with Spinach and Tomatoes in Garlic Cream Sauce this meal is perfect for the chicken and bacon lover.
As always I do not follow the recipes exact as I enjoy adding my own elements to make the dish unique for my readers. I will however share the ingredients I put into my meal below and directions on how to make it. First thing we want to do is start making our sauce, and prepare our chicken for the stove top.
Drizzle the frying pan with olive oil place the chicken into the frying pan and add the seasoning. In this case Italian seasoning herbs and Paprika. Fry the chicken till it’s nicely glazed golden brown with the spices and olive oil. Once cooked, place chicken on a slide plate, in the same frying pan with the juices from the chicken, add our half and half had cream, bacon and garlic, tomatoes and spinach. Bring the sauce to a boil, it will thicken a little, then we reduce heat and add our pasta.
Let everything cook together, oven bake some garlic bread and serve with a topping of Parmesan cheese.
